Growing up in Germany, Huma Usmani was generally impatient unless working on one thing - baking! From chocolate truffles to detailed sugar flowers, she never seemed to mind spending hours creating art for people she loved.

 

After pursuing a degree in pastry arts she decided to pour her time and efforts into creating her biggest project yet,
Cake as Canvas.

With a Pakistani upbringing, Huma has explored recreating traditional style pastries and desserts with a desi twist. Some creations have been Gulab Jamun cake cups, Rooh Afza cakes, and Ras Malai cupcakes. She is always trying something new!
